Linda’s adult short story, To Take Flight was published in the Bridge House anthology Going Places on 13th July 2010.
On the 30th November 2010 Linda’s children’s book, suitable for 5 – 11 year olds, Hate at First Bite was published by Flame Lily Books. Some of the royalties raised from the book will be donated to the Animal Rescue Care and to the Mayhew Animal Centre.
A short story for teenagers, The Wild Ones, was published in the Devils, Demons and Werewolves anthology on the 15th October, 2010.
Two children’s short stories, The Secret Messsenger and Timid Tim will be printed in another Bridge House anthology, Hipp-O-Dee-Doo-Dah! to raise money for the children’s hospice appeal, alongside contributions from the children’s writers Alan Gibbons and Lauren St John, as well as a foreword by Michael Morpurgo.

Background
Linda Flynn has had eight educational books published, six with the Heinemann Fiction Project. Her children’s fiction, Hate at First Bite won Best First Chapter in the Writers’ Billboard competition. In addition she has had a number of newspaper and magazine articles printed. Linda is a member of the Society of Authors.
Linda also works as a Head of English and as a Public Relations Officer. In that capacity she has been interviewed on the television, radio and newspaper. This has included: The Times, BBC Breakfast with Bill Turnbull and Kate Silverton and Five Live with Nicky Campbell, as well as being seen very briefly on The One Show.
Linda lives in Hertfordshire and when she isn't writing she particularly enjoys reading, visiting the theatre or cinema, swimming and walking her two rescue dogs.
